The USA won the bronze medal in the 2017 U19 FIBA tournament after being eliminated by eventual champion Canada. One player that stuck out to me was Auburn center Austin Wiley. Wiley was the captain of the U19 team, and displayed physical dominance in the tournament. Continue reading
Josh McRoberts was traded to Dallas in early July for AJ Hammons, and the trade also included a 2nd round pick to Dallas. However, many Mavericks fans were upset with the trade and quickly dismissed McRoberts. I have yet to see any strong analysis of McRoberts and his fit in Dallas, so I will provide you with one. Mikal Bridges has great upside thanks to long arms, good defensive skills, and good shooting.
